An Observation
I have been weaning myself from one of my habits: the crafting of stylistic run-on sentences which, while grammatically above reproach, feature enough clauses to give Lovecraft a headache, separated by commas, semicolons and dashes (with the odd parenthetical; I love parentheticals); and while I have largely stopped putting these in stories, they’re just too much fun — so I sometimes use them in online communications.
